Kenny is out and Perry is in!!
The Cleveland Browns have a new defensive back; I am talking about Jereme Perry, who now has a 1-year contract. Mr. Perry played 12 games for the Browns in 2006 after earning a roster spot as an (Believe it or not) undrafted free agent from Eastern Michigan. And for those of you that keep track of the numbers, he made 12 tackles and recovered one fumble. Perry also played in four games on special teams for the Miami Dolphins during last season.
But,… what about Kenny? As the Browns hope to “upgrade their defense” with the addition of Jereme Perry; there is someone who has little to celebrate. Kenny Wright, who was arrested last month on marijuana possession charges in Texas. (And yes, kicked out of the Cleveland team) Would Perry’s addition would be enough for the Cleveland defense to rise?
